IBC Table 721.1(2), Item 6-1.1 (Solid gypsum plaster): 3/4" by 0.055" (No. 16 carbon sheet steel gage) vertical cold-rolled channels, 16" on center with 2.6-pound flat metal lath applied to one face and tied with 0.049" (No. 18 B.W. gage) wire at 6" spacing. Gypsum plaster each side mixed 1:2 by weight, gypsum to sand aggregate. Minimum finished thickness (face-to-face) — 1-hr: 2 (d)". Prescriptive assembly from the adopted building code — thicknesses are code minimums, see table footnotes for conditions.
