TESTED per ASTM E119 (NGC Testing Services, 10/4/2012; documented in the WoodWorks Inventory of Fire Resistance-Tested Mass Timber Assemblies). Loaded 5-ply, 175 mm (6-7/8 in) Nordic E1 CLT wall with half-lap panel joints and one layer of 5/8 in Type X gypsum board on each face; the test achieved 186 minutes of fire endurance under full load, supporting a 3-hour rating.
