TESTED per ASTM E119 (Western Fire Center, 5/25/2017; documented in the WoodWorks Inventory of Fire Resistance-Tested Mass Timber Assemblies). Loaded 5-ply, 6-7/8 in SmartLam SL-V4 CLT wall with half-lap panel joints and no gypsum protection on either side (fully exposed CLT); achieved 120 minutes of fire endurance, supporting a 2-hour rating with the char layer providing the protection.
