3-Hour Fire Rated Floor-to-Floor Joint — FF-D-1001

UL System FF-D-1001 (category XHBN) — Floor-to-floor joint up to 4" wide in a min 4-1/2" reinforced concrete slab. The joint is packed with 4 pcf mineral wool batt cut to min 4" widths, installed edge-first and compressed min 50% in thickness, recessed from the top slab surface. A min 1/2" thickness of Pensil 300 / SpecSeal SIL300 silicone sealant (gun or self-leveling grade) is applied flush with the top surface of the floor. L rating less than 1 CFM/lin ft. Nominal joint width up to 4"; movement capability 25% compression or extension (15% with self-leveling SIL300SL).
