2-Hour Fire Rated Floor-to-Wall Joint — FW-D-1006
UL System FW-D-1006 (category XHBN) — Floor-to-wall joint up to 4" wide between the edge of a min 4-1/2" reinforced concrete floor slab and the face of a min 4-1/2" concrete or UL Classified concrete block wall. The joint is packed with 4 pcf mineral wool batt cut to min 4" widths, installed edge-first and compressed min 33%, recessed from the top of the slab. SpecSeal AS200 elastomeric spray is applied at min 1/8" wet (1/16" dry) thickness flush with the top of the floor, lapping min 1" onto the floor surface and the wall face. L rating less than 1 CFM/lin ft. Nominal joint width up to 4"; movement capability 15% compression or extension.
