3-Hour Fire Rated Floor-to-Wall Joint — FW-D-1007

UL System FW-D-1007 (category XHBN) — Floor-to-wall joint up to 4" wide between the edge of a min 4-1/2" reinforced concrete floor slab and the face of a min 4-1/2" concrete or UL Classified concrete block wall. The joint is packed with 4 pcf mineral wool batt cut to min 4" widths, installed edge-first and compressed min 33%, recessed from the top of the slab to accommodate the fill. A min 1/2" thickness of SpecSeal ES elastomeric sealant is applied within the joint flush with the top surface of the floor. L rating less than 1 CFM/lin ft. Nominal joint width up to 4"; movement capability 15% compression or extension.
