2-Hour Fire Rated Steel Column — spray-applied fire resistive material (SFRM)
UL Design X772 — protected wide-flange steel column, 1 to 4-hour ratings. Columns W4x13 through W36x300 sprayed with SFRM (e.g. Monokote) to a contour or boxed profile; required thickness from the design tables or h = 1.05(W/D) + 0.61, giving roughly 5/16" to 4-1/16" depending on column size and rating. Optional 3.4 lb/yd² expanded steel lath.
