Section 259. — SOIL NAIL RETAINING WALLS Description 259.01 This work consists of constructing soil nail retaining walls. 259.02 Definition. For soil nail retaining walls, a lift is defined as a stable height of unsupported excavation before application of shotcrete, typically midpoint between rows of soil nails.
