Section 2C.56 Playground Sign (W15-1) Option: 01 The Playground (W15-1) sign (see Figure 2C-15) may be used to give advance warning of a designated children’s playground that is located adjacent to the road. 02 The Playground sign may have a fluorescent yellow-green background with a black legend and border. Guidance: 03 If the access to the playground area requires a roadway crossing, the application of crosswalk pavement markings (see Chapter 3C) and a Non-Vehicular Warning sign (see Section 2C.55) should be considered.
