Section 2C.64 Hill-Related Plaques (W7-2 Series and W7-3 Series) Guidance: 01 Hill-Related (W7-2 series and W7-3 series) plaques (see Figure 2C-5 ) or other appropriate legends and larger signs should be used for emphasis or where special hill characteristics exist. 02 On longer grades, the use of a distance (W7-3aP or W7-3bP) plaque (see Figure 2C-5 ) at periodic intervals of approximately 1-mile spacing should be considered.
