Section 2C.66 Traffic Does Not Stop Plaques (W4-4P Series) Option: 01 The CROSS TRAFFIC DOES NOT STOP (W4-4P) plaque (see Figure 2C-10 ) may be used in combination with a STOP sign when engineering judgment indicates that conditions are present that are causing or could cause road users to misinterpret the intersection as an all-way stop. 02 The TRAFFIC FROM LEFT (RIGHT) DOES NOT STOP (W4-4aP) or ONCOMING TRAFFIC DOES NOT STOP (W4-4bP) plaque may be used when such messages more accurately describe the traffic controls established at the intersection.
