Section 2D.33 Confirming or Reassurance Assemblies Standard: 01 If used, Confirming or Reassurance assemblies shall consist of a Cardinal Direction auxiliary plaque and a route sign. Where the Confirming or Reassurance assembly is for an alternative route, the appropriate auxiliary plaque for an alternative route (see Section 2D.16) shall also be included in the assembly. Guidance: 02 A Confirming assembly should be installed just beyond intersections of numbered routes.
