Section 2D.36 Destination Signs (D1 Series) Standard: 01 Except on approaches to interchanges (see Section 2D.49), the Destination (D1-1 through D1-3) signs (see Figure 2D -9), if used, shall be a horizontal rectangle displaying the name of a city, town, village, or other traffic generator, and a directional arrow.
