Section 2I.06 Brake Check Area Signs (D5-13 and D5-14) Guidance: 01 If an area has been provided for drivers to pull off of the roadway to check the brakes on their vehicle, a Brake Check Area Advance (D5-13) sign (see Figure 2I-6 ) should be installed in advance of the brake check area, and a D5-14 sign (see Figure 2I-6 ) should be placed at the entrance to the brake check area.
