Section 6H.15 Flagger Signs (W20-7 and W20-7a) Guidance: 01 The Flagger (W20-7) sign (see Figure 6H-1 ) should be used in advance of any point where a flagger is stationed to control road users.Option: 02 A distance legend may be displayed on a supplemental plaque below the Flagger sign. The sign may be used with appropriate legends or in conjunction with other warning signs, such as the BE PREPARED TO STOP (W3-4) sign (see Fig ure 6H-1 ). 03 The FLAGGER (W20-7a) word message sign with a distance legend may be substituted for the Flagger (W20-7) sign.
