Section 6H.28 STEEL PLATE AHEAD Sign (W8-24) Option: 01 A STEEL PLATE AHEAD (W8-24) sign (see Figure 6H-1) may be used to warn road users that the presence of a temporary steel plate(s) might make the road surface uneven and might create slippery conditions during wet weather.
