Section 8D.07 Rail Traffic Detection Standard: 01 The devices employed in active traffic control systems shall be actuated by some form of rail traffic detection. 02 Rail traffic detection circuits, insofar as practical, shall be designed on the fail-safe principle. 03 Flashing-light signals shall operate for at least 20 seconds before the arrival of any rail traffic, except as provided in Paragraph 4 of this Section.
