Dryer Exhaust Duct Through Fireblocking and Rated Assemblies
Sections of a wall cavity and a rated floor/ceiling: a dryer duct may pass fireblocking or a rated assembly only if galvanized steel or aluminum and the rating is kept; no fire dampers.. Referenced to IFGC 2021 §614.2.
