Crawl Space Finished Grade and Drainage
Under-floor grade may sit at the footing bottom, but where groundwater can rise within 6 in of the finished floor or surface water will not drain, raise it to outside grade unless drainage is approved.. Referenced to IRC 2021 §R408.6.
