12.11 SECTION 12.11 REMOVAL OF PAVEMENT MARKINGS 12.11.01—Description: This item shall consist of removal of pavement markings, of the type specified, as called for on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. 12.11.03—Construction Methods: Pavement markings shall be removed from the pavement by any method that does not materially damage the surface or texture of the pavement. Any damage to the pavement surface caused by pavement marking removal shall be repaired by the Contractor at its expense by methods acceptable to the Engineer.
