7.08 SECTION 7.08 DAMPPROOFING 7.08.01—Description: Dampproofing of concrete or masonry work shall consist of a coating of asphalt as indicated on the plans and in accordance with these specifications. 7.08.02—Materials: The materials for this work shall meet the requirements of M.12.05. 7.08.03—Construction Methods: The surface to which the dampproofing coating is to be applied shall be cleaned of all loose and foreign material and dirt and shall be dry. Where necessary, the Engineer may require the surface to be scrubbed with water and a stiff brush, after which the surface shall be allowed…
