9.51 SECTION 9.51 ROCK EXCAVATION FOR PLANTING 9.51.01—Description: When solid ledge rock, concrete pavement, or boulders 1/2 c.y. in size or greater, are encountered in the planting area, the Contractor shall notify the Engineer who will determine whether the rock or concrete pavement shall be removed or the plant or plants relocated.
