3701.2.1 Continuous load Where a branch circuit or feeder supplies continuous loads or any combination of continuous and noncontinuous loads, the minimum branch-circuit or feeder conductor size shall have an ampacity not less than the noncontinuous load plus 125 percent of the continuous load in accordance with Table E3705.1.
