Concrete inspection covers batching, placement, finishing, and curing. MDOT acceptance testing: compressive strength cylinders per AASHTO T 22 at frequency of one set per 50 cubic yards or per day. Slump testing per AASHTO T 119 at point of placement. Air content per AASHTO T 152. Temperature limits: minimum 50°F, maximum 90°F at placement (hot/cold weather provisions apply). Curing: 7 days minimum wet cure or membrane curing compound at specified rate.
