How do I search for building codes?
Use the Code Library from the sidebar or the Search page. You can browse by state, model code, or search by keyword.
What is the AI Copilot?
Copilot is an AI assistant trained on building codes. Ask it code questions, find assemblies, perform calculations, or generate checklists.
How do Projects work?
Projects let you organize your code research by job site. Create a project, set its jurisdiction, and save relevant codes, assemblies, and notes.
How do I bookmark a code section?
While browsing codes or assemblies, click the bookmark icon next to any item. Saved items appear on your Bookmarks page.
What jurisdictions are supported?
BuildSpec covers all 50 US states, major cities, and federal agencies including DOT, DOD, and GSA.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account Settings from the user menu in the top right, then click Manage Subscription.
