When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts), and communicate important updates about the Service.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy governing its handling of your data.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your account settings page. To request a full data export or account deletion, contact us at support@buildspec.codes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
