Portland cement concrete (PCC) paving inspection covers slip-form or fixed-form paving operations. Thickness tolerance: average not less than plan thickness, no individual measurement <0.5 inch deficient. Surface smoothness: Profile Index ≤7.0 inches/mile for Interstate, ≤12.0 for other routes. Dowel bar alignment: ±0.25 inch vertical, ±1/4 inch horizontal per dowel. Tie bar spacing and depth per design. Texturing: transverse tining per MI standard detail. Curing compound application within 30 minutes.
