Contract administration procedures cover contract time, progress scheduling, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution. WSDOT uses critical path method (CPM) scheduling on all projects >$5M. Contract time extensions require documented delay analysis per the contract General Provisions. Change orders classified as: Type I (bilateral), Type II (unilateral), or Type III (value engineering). Claims procedures per WA Standard Specifications Section 5-1.

All work under this section shall comply with WSDOT current standards and applicable AASHTO, ASTM, and federal requirements. The Engineer has authority to accept or reject materials and workmanship that do not conform to the specifications.
