Project design documentation shall follow the WA Design Documentation Guide format. All highway projects require a completed Design Study Report (DSR) or equivalent. Projects with design exceptions require formal Design Exception Reports with mitigation analysis. Major projects require an Environmental Document per NEPA/CEQA with design alternatives analysis.

All work under this section shall comply with WSDOT current standards and applicable AASHTO, ASTM, and federal requirements. The Engineer has authority to accept or reject materials and workmanship that do not conform to the specifications.
