Unless otherwise explicitly stated, these words refer to the Engineer's acceptance of work or materials for the purpose of initiating a Progress Payment(s) to the Contractor. 101.03.1 Final Acceptance. The formal written acceptance by the Commissioner indicating that the Contractor has complied with all requirements of the Contract and it has been completed in all respects.
