A type of Change Order that does not require a Contractor’s signature. Final Acceptance: The Department’s payment of the balance due on the final paym ent voucher. Free Float: The amount of time identified in a specific activity that can be Delayed without causing a Delay to successor activities. Total Float or Float: The amount of time that an activity can be Delayed without ca using a Delay to the Critical Path or negatively impacting the Project completion date.
