Idaho · ITD

The channel of a river or other watercourse and the adjacent land areas, regulated by federal, state, or local requirements, that must be reserved in an open manner (i.e., unconfined or unobstructed) horizontally or vertically, to provide for the discharge of the base flood so the cumulative increase in water surface elevation does not exceed a designated amount. Resident (Design Construction) Engineer. The authorized Engineer representative.
