A detailed informational document prepared by the manufacturer or importer of a hazardous chemical. The Safety Data Sheet follows a standard specification with a 16-section format as described in the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of the Classification & labeling of Chemicals which established guidelines for ensuring the safe production, transport, use, & disposal of hazardous materials. Samples. Physical examples of materials, equipment or workmanship submitted to the Engineer by the Contractor, or taken by the Engineer, in order to establish a standard which the Contractor is required to meet.
