Every point checked from Kittery to Fort Kent bands to B or C under ASCE 7-16 at Site Class D and Risk Category II, with short-period spectral response between about 0.23 and 0.33 g. Portland, Bangor, Lewiston, Augusta, Machias and Presque Isle are all B, and Kittery and Presque Isle reach C on the long-period parameter.
