2601 - MATERIALS CERTIFICATIONS 2600-1 SECTION 2601 MATERIALS CERTIFICATIONS 2601.1 DESCRIPTION This specification governs the requirements for the cont ent and distribution of certifications when dictated, in part or in whole, as the basis of acceptance for a material. 2601.2 REQUIREMENTS a. General (1) The contractor is responsible for obtaining all cer tifications and arranging for their delivery to the proper destinations prior to use of the material and allowing sufficient time for review as stated herein.
