ITEM 258 LOAD TRANSFER RETROFIT 258.01 Description. This work consists of sawing slots across transverse cracks, cleaning the slot, injecting caulking filler, placing a dowel or deformed bar in the slot, and filling the slot with a patching material. 258.02 Materials.
