02831.00Scope - This Section includes the requirements for the metals in pedestrian fence
Materials
02831.10Aluminum Parts - Posts, post caps, post bases, rails, and spindles shall conform to
6061-T6 aluminum. Punch post base bolt holes at the locations shown before fabrication.
02831.20Fasteners - Fasteners shall meet the following requirements:
Threaded rods – ASTM A193 Grade B7 G alvanized 1/2 inch dia. steel nuts – ASTM A194 Grade 8M Galvanized 1/2 inch dia. SAE steel flat washers – ASTM F436 Type 1 Galvanized
02830.40Acceptance - Acceptance of pedestrian rail Materials will be according to 00165.35 and
this Section.
