3.1SMALL DITCH
A.Construct the ditch as shown.
B.Place and compact excavated material in embankments. Refer to Section
02056.

3.2SURFACE DITCH
A.Construct the ditch along the contour of the ground.
B.Place excavated material to form a berm on the downhill side of the ditch.
C.Shape the ditch and berm so that power-driven mowers can operate on
the graded surface.
