MUTCD G20-2: END ROAD WORK Sign
The G20-2 sign is covered in Section 6H.36 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 11th Edition. Below are the provisions from that section that describe when the sign is used and how it is placed.
What it means and when it is used
- Guidance · Recommended (should)When used, the END ROAD WORK (G20-2) sign (see Figure 6H-1 ) should be placed near the downstream end of the termination area, as determined by engineering judgment.
- Option · Permitted (may)The END ROAD WORK sign may be installed on the back of a warning sign facing the opposite direction of road users or on the back of a Type 3 Barricade.
