MUTCD R15-7: Divided Highway with Light Rail Transit Crossing Signs
The R15-7 sign is covered in Section 8B.15 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 11th Edition. Below are the provisions from that section that describe when the sign is used and how it is placed.
What it means and when it is used
- Option · Permitted (may)The Divided Highway with Light Rail Transit Crossing (R15-7 or R15-7a) sign (see Figure 8B-1) may be used as a supplemental sign on the approach legs of a roadway that intersects with a divided highway where LRT equipment operates in the median. The sign may be placed beneath a STOP sign or mounted separately.
