MUTCD W3-6: DRAW BRIDGE Sign
The W3-6 sign is covered in Section 2C.36 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 11th Edition. Below are the provisions from that section that describe when the sign is used and how it is placed.
What it means and when it is used
- Standard · Required (shall)A DRAW BRIDGE (W3-6) sign (see Figure 2C-8 ) shall be used in advance of movable bridge signals and gates (see Section 4Q.02) to give warning to road users.
