MUTCD W8-12: NO CENTER LINE Sign
The W8-12 sign is covered in Section 2C.32 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 11th Edition. Below are the provisions from that section that describe when the sign is used and how it is placed.
What it means and when it is used
- Option · Permitted (may)The NO CENTER LINE (W8-12) sign (see Figure 2C-7 ) may be used to warn of a roadway without center line pavement markings.
