Electrical work permit checklist — Peoria, Arizona
Assembled from Peoria’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Peoria requires a permit for electrical work.
Peoria publishes no standalone electrical exemption list; the adopted electrical code as amended in the Peoria City Code governs, which exempts only minor work such as like-for-like device replacement. Note that the city explicitly lists miscellaneous commercial electrical with service of 225 amperes or less as an over-the-counter item, which shows electrical work of that scale is permitted rather than exempt.
