Do you need a permit?
Denver does not require a permit for a shed.
Denver requires no building permit for a detached, single-story, unconditioned accessory building, meaning a garden shed, a playhouse or something similar, capped at 200 square feet of projected roof area, an 8-foot top plate height, and 14 feet to any point. Heights run from the lowest grade beside the accessory structure. Up to two lights and two receptacles may go in under a valid electrical permit.
