Water heater permit checklist — Wilmington, Delaware
Assembled from Wilmington’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Wilmington requires a permit for a water heater.
A permit is not required for repairs that involve only the working parts of a faucet or valve. Plumbing work that does not require a permit and does not have to be done by a licensed plumber must still comply with all code standards and is subject to inspection by the plumbing inspector at any time.
