The Allegheny County Health Department plumbing fee schedule, effective January 1, 2023, sets plan fees by fixture count, from $80 for Level 1 plans (0-5 fixtures) to $985 for Level 5 plans (201 or more fixtures), plus a $22 fixture fee covering fixtures, fire sprinkler heads, water heaters, building sewer, and water service itemized in plans. Fixture replacement cards for hot water heaters and fixtures cost $27; re-inspections cost $75. Evening and Saturday inspections cost $360 and Sunday inspections $705, with 24-hour notice required. Checks are payable to the Treasurer of Allegheny County.
