General building work permit checklist — Draper, Utah
Assembled from Draper’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Draper requires a permit for general building work.
Draper's zoning-side building permit ordinance (9-5-120) lists no exemptions; it requires a complete application, fees and a scaled plot plan for any building permit, and states the permit expires if construction does not commence within 180 days (extensions available). Draper does not publish its own list of exempt work, relying instead on the state-adopted construction code.
