Do you need a permit?
St. George requires a permit for a retaining wall.
Rockery, segmental block, reinforced concrete, or CMU retaining walls under four feet in height do not require a permit under this section, and no permit is required where the wall is already shown in detail on an approved site development plan. Any retaining wall in a front setback requires a permit regardless of height unless detailed on approved site development plans.
