Shed permit checklist — Cheyenne, Wyoming
Assembled from Cheyenne’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Cheyenne does not require a permit for a shed.
Cheyenne City Code amends the adopted building code to drop the permit requirement for a detached single-story accessory building, meaning a garden shed, a playhouse or something similar, where the floor area is 200 square feet or less.
