TerraTex SF-90

A woven silt-fence geotextile made from high-tenacity polypropylene tapes, used as the fabric element of a temporary perimeter sediment barrier. Its published minimum average roll values are a 100 x 100 lb grab tensile with 15 percent elongation, 300 lb CBR puncture, 45 x 45 lb trapezoidal tear, a No. 30 US standard sieve apparent opening size, 0.05 per second permittivity and a 6 gpm per square foot flow rate, with 70 percent strength retained after 500 hours of ultraviolet exposure. At 100 lb grab it sits in the wire-fence-supported class of silt fence fabric rather than the self-supported class.
